Dear friends and guests,
We’re writing to share that Easy Rider Diner, as you know it, is now closed for public service.
Please note that all scheduled shows are still happening as planned. This change only affects diner and food service during shows.
As we move into the final stages of preparation for the construction of our new venue in the Murphy Arts Center, we’re shifting operations to better utilize our spaces and maintain momentum throughout the build. As part of this realignment, we’ve made the difficult—but necessary—decision to close the restaurant.
This decision was shaped not only by our long-term vision, but also by the realities of today’s hospitality landscape. Rising food and labor costs, combined with the unique challenges of running a full-service restaurant, have made it increasingly difficult to maintain the level of quality and consistency we aim to deliver. Along the way, we’ve gained a deep appreciation for the restaurant industry and those who make it thrive every day.
We’re incredibly proud of everything we accomplished with Easy Rider — from unforgettable meals to the countless moments shared with our community. Thank you to everyone who pulled up a chair, supported us, and helped make it something truly special.
Most of all, we want to give a heartfelt shout-out to our amazing team. Your dedication, talent, and hard work — through early mornings, late nights, and everything in between — brought Easy Rider to life every single day. We couldn’t have done it without you.
What’s next?
- The Snack Shack in the HI-FI Annex will continue to serve food
- We’ve refreshed the former diner space as a part of the expanded HI-FI concert experience. This location will still offer bar service, seating and the same concert menu that is served in the Annex. This space is now back open for concerts. We’ll be working on through the end of June to complete additional minor renovations.
- For festivals and special events (Cheece, Post Fest, etc) this former diner space will be open and fans will have the ability to move between both venues.
- We’re excited to get back to doing what we do best: producing live music and events that bring people together
With appreciation,
The Easy Rider Team
